I just wanted to share this Simplicity pattern. If you want an easy top, this is it! It’s designed for stretch knits. It’s simple to cut & sews up easy. The worst part was the neck. Next time I may use bias tape and get it done even quicker. I wore it today and my Mom liked it so much that she bought the pattern and 3 kinds of fabric for me to make her some. Oh, well, no rest for the weary! 😴

  1. This looks fantastic! I love the detail on the sleeve! Knits can be great fun but they are tricky!

I struggle with necklines as well – the knit gets completely out of control. I discovered that if I stitch non stretch woven tape along the edge it gives me a little more stability.

  2. I recently made a similar top to match some leggings I got. They are so comfortable because of the stretchy fabric with the 3/4 length sleeves.
