After months of searching we finally settled on a camper!! I’m so excited. 😁 This is a smaller size than we were originally looking at, but when we found it we fell in love. It is more practical, weighs a lot less, will fit all four of us when the kids want to come, and will be perfect when it’s just Joe & I. It will also be a lot less bulky in the driveway.

This is the 17RK version. The RK means that it has a rear kitchen. This also has the Baja package which includes 15″ Goodyear off-road mud tires, a 5″ ground clearance, & double entry steps. So if we decide to go off the beaten path for some reason, we’re all set. It’s right at 20 feet long & 3,000 lbs.

The outside has an exterior grill, a shower, electric tongue jack, backup camera, power awning with color changing LED lights, and a t.v. bracket with cable & satellite hookups. I’m hoping to find a screen room attachment for the awning.

There is a queen size bed on the front end with a window at the head & the feet. There is also a stereo system and a t.v. that’s on a swivel base so it can be watched from the bed or the dining area. The dining area is a slide out that gives more room and this also converts to a bed. Across from it is the cute bathroom with a shower, foot flush toilet and linen cabinet. There are LED lights throughout, an air conditioner, and a furnace.

The kitchen is huge for this size camper! There is a two burner cooktop, a fridge, a sink, and a combo microwave and convection oven. AND SO MUCH STORAGE.

I’m really excited to get this home, personalize and stock it, and hopefully make our maiden voyage later this month!

We’re not new to camping but we’re always looking for helpful tips. If you have any, feel free to leave them in the comments. Thanks for reading & stay safe!
