Sophy was walking along in the rain minding her own business when a seemingly obnoxious stranger came along and splashed her with mud. She had no idea how her life was about to change!

Our heroine may have been poor and an unlikely match for an Earl, but her mother raised her to be a lady and she was a confident and capable young woman. That would be helpful in her future.

The main characters in this story were likeable and relatable. The romance was sweet and the intimacy was kept modest. This romance moved quickly, but, as it often does, life takes a few twists and turns on the way to happily ever after.

It’s worth your time when you are wanting an easy read with a happy ending.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
