We broke out our Hummingbird for the first time this year. It was a nice few days away. We love KOA camping and discovered this campground about 45 minutes from us. It’s not a new campground but it just became a KOA campground this year.

There are 3 levels of KOA campgrounds: Journey, Holiday, and Resort. This was a Journey, which is the most basic but still very nice. Being on the Nolachuckey River it was very peaceful because of the constant sound of the water. This isn’t a big campground and there weren’t many campsites available when we made our reservation. I imagine that it’s popular with the fishermen, but sadly we didn’t have any luck. Just a few bites.

If you are in East Tennessee and looking for campground give this one a try. You won’t be disappointed. Stay safe! 😁
