I am so thankful that I stumbled upon the Weekly Prompts Wednesday Challenge – Curiosities when I was scrolling through the WordPress reader. The first thing that caught my eye was the following quote:

“What a large volume of adventures may be grasped within the span of his little life by him who interests his heart in everything.”― Laurence Sterne

If know me at all you know that I have a wild amount of interests. That fact is probably proven by my blog and the variety of things that I post. I love to learn about & try new things. Because of this I get easily bored and have had many different jobs to prove it. Reading is also important to me. So when I read the above quote from a man I’d never heard of my curiosities got the better of me.

Now after a Google search on Laurence Sterne and reading Wikipedia’s recount of his life and works I am intrigued. New titles are going to be added to my Kindle and very soon I plan to watch the 2005 movie that is based on his novel, The Life and Opinions of Tristram Shandy, Gentleman.

So thank you, G.C. & Sue for your “curiosities” prompt. It’s been educational for me. 😊
