Oh, The Perfect Day!

Describe your most ideal day from beginning to end.

My most ideal day would be spent outdoors. It would be the first full day of a camping trip at the lake. I imagine waking up to the sound of birds singing in the trees. In the distance I can also hear boat motors of ambitious fishermen already gliding across the water.

Breakfast would consist of eggs, bacon, toast, and coffee cooked over a crackling campfire. Then we’d walk down to the shore and toss a line in for a little while.

Next, we would lace up our hiking books and find a trail to explore. I’d have my camera to capture native plants and any animals seen on the way.

After lunch, probably something prepared quickly, we would do some kayaking across the lake. Maybe we would fish, maybe we’d just float the day away.

That evening I would relax for a while in my hammock with a good book, later moving to a chair by the campfire. We’d eat burgers or hot dogs that were cooked over the fire. Following that would be roasted marshmallows that were very brown on the outside, but not burnt, and soft, warm, and gooey inside.

I’d fall asleep to the sound of crickets chirping and distant campfires still crackling. Dreams of the fun day tomorrow in my mind. There’s nothing better!

  1. The perfect day for me would be a cruise on our boat to a fun destination. Like Rio Vista or Pittsburg. We’d meet up with friends and enjoy each other company. Take a walk together and have a wonderful dinner in a local restaurant. Then watch the sunset. The perfect day.

    Have a fabulous day. ♥
