Yes I need a break! I usually need a break. I’m a wife, mother, daughter, nurse. How could I not need a break? Life gets overwhelming and sometimes you just need to step back and take a deep breath.
Taking a break is essential for my productivity and mental health. When I take time to relax and reflect gives me an opportunity to reset and refocus, and helps me to approach tasks with a clear head. Sometimes I go for a walk in nature, journal, or take a few moments for some meditation.
One of my favorite things to do when I get stressed is to plan a getaway. I love traveling and having mini getaways scattered out through the year really helps my frame of mind. A little break like this can rejuvenate me and give me my energy and peace of mind back.
