She looked out the second story window of that old brick building. Somehow she had to shake the blues that had taken hold of her. Opening the door she took a deep breath of the fresh morning air as she stepped out onto the sidewalk. The sweet scent of spring filled her lungs and the sound of birds chirping made her grin.
Crossing the street, she allowed herself to take in the beautiful view of the park, the lush green trees and the brightly colored flowers. Smiling, she thanked God for days like this and the healing power of nature.
