You’re going on a cross-country trip. Airplane, train, bus, car, or bike?
Oh how I love to travel! I wouldn’t likely turn down any kind of trip. I do enjoy flying but if I had the time to travel as long as I wanted I would definitely camp my way across the country and back.

We have a regular camper but we are wanting to sell it and get something different. So for now we will be camping with the tent trailer.
Our first planned trip of the year is coming up next month. We will be camping along the intracoastal waterway and hiking on the Palmetto Trail. Then in June we are cruising with Margaritaville At Sea. I’m excited for that one. We’ve only been on one cruise and it was many years ago, way before there was a Buffett themed one.
That’s all we have planned so far but I’m working on more places. After all, planning is half the fun.
For a short, long distance trip I would definitely fly again. I’ve only flown three times but it was exciting. 😍

I love traveling by air.
I like driving places when I have the time. Not on the Interstates, though. The lesser highways lead through interesting places. If you have the patience to wait behind a tractor pulling a hay wagon at 25 MPH, lol.
When I was a 58 year old widow, I rode my Harley-Davidson motorcycle through 42 states (27k miles) by myself. It was the year for me. At age 60, I sold everything, bought a used Class C motorhome and became a full-time RVer. Then I met my now husband, also widowed, a full-time RVer and Harley rider at an RV rally in Wyoming. Since then, we have racked up a ton of miles traveling through every state in the country by RV & motorcycle. My swan song for motorcycle riding was going from TN to IL, then riding all of Route 66 (I got to turn age 66 while riding Rt 66) to Santa Monica and back home to TN. Then we moved to Ecuador for two years.
In 2017 we bought our home here in rural TN and we mostly drive and cruise!

That is awesome!
We used to travel quite often, but we’re in our 70s now and going to the boat for a cruise is about it for us.
Have a fabulous day and week. ♥
I’m a fan of travel, but I’m also a preferred glamper. I like my a/c and not sleeping on the ground, as a bare minimum. So I commend you for camping!
There’s so much to see, and so many ways to see it! I’d like to do them all!
Good 👍
