Day M! …I’m going to need a vacation after this challenge… M is for mittens and I found a (you guessed it) easy tutorial for them on Pinterest. DIY Crush has a fantastically simple pattern to print out. You can access it here. The size I used was a child’s large and it was perfect for me.
These were made with fleece which gives plenty of stretch and doesn’t fray so there is no need to hem the edges unless you want to. I hemmed mine with a zigzag stitch so that it would stretch with the fleece when taking the mittens on & off. If a basic straight stitch is used it will break when stretched.
I hope this inspires you to make some. Now is the perfect time to buy fleece on sale and plan for next winter.
