My theme this year is Bible verses. Welcome to day Q. One thought that came to my mind as I was looking up these verses was how the theme of quietness goes hand in hand with gladness, peacefulness, calmness, and rest. In some situations in life the best thing that we can do, for ourselves and others, is to simply be calm and quiet and see what God will do.

Psalm 107:30 NKJV — Then they are glad because they are quiet; So He guides them to their desired haven.
Isaiah 32:18 NKJV — My people will dwell in a peaceful habitation, In secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places.
Jeremiah 47:6 NKJV — “O you sword of the LORD, How long until you are quiet? Put yourself up into your scabbard, Rest and be still!
Acts 19:36 NKJV — “Therefore, since these things cannot be denied, you ought to be quiet and do nothing rashly.
1 Thessalonians 4:11 NKJV — that you also aspire to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you.
1 Peter 3:4 NKJV — rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God.
