My theme this year is Bible verses. Welcome to day U where the subject is upright. That is not a word that we say a lot today but it was used several times in the Bible, often to describe someone who had purity, honesty, goodness, and was obedient and blameless. Let’s ponder these verses and strive to have them describe us.

Psalm 97:11 NIV — Light shines on the righteous and joy on the upright in heart.
Proverbs 2:7 NIV — He holds success in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless,
Titus 1:8 NIV — Rather, he must be hospitable, one who loves what is good, who is self-controlled, upright, holy and disciplined.
Titus 2:11-12 NIV — For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age.
