Oh, it’s been so long! I have missed blogging about anything and everything. I’ve thought about it so often, but I just could not muster up the effort needed to put a post together. Let’s face it, it takes work to come up with something that feels worthwhile. Without some kind of creative outlet it feels like I’ve been floundering. All work and no play, you know.

We have been consumed with our “new to us” home makeover and it has been truly exhausting. I’ve said that I don’t know if I would do it over again if I had the chance, but I would. I’d just hire some things out instead of being so determined to do it ourselves. Being mortgage free is worth the effort it took getting here. Our other house sold at the end of January so hip-hip-horray! We moved in around Christmas, but have been putting on the final touches, i.e., interior doors, trim, caulking. Oh so much caulking! Here’s a few pictures of how she’s coming along.

Hopefully my next post will be beach related because we are heading out on a much needed vacation tomorrow! I’m looking forward to swimming, sunning, reading, but mostly relaxing by the ocean. Talk to you soon!
