Well….we may or may not be going to the truck race tonight. It’s race weekend in Bristol so of course that means rain. It rained most of the day yesterday and it’s raining now. The forecast says it will keep on keeping on. So the question is do we go to the track and see if they can get it in or do we just blow it off? Younger me would have been there regardless. I drove my dad crazy when I still lived at home whenever race weekend rolled around. Not as young me doesn’t really care about Nascar. It has changed so much and I don’t think it is nearly as good as it was “back in my day”. I got an awesome deal on the tickets so it’s no big loss if we don’t go. Time will tell.

Tomorrow will be a girls day out for my mom’s birthday. Me, my daughter, my mom, and my aunt are going out to eat. Hopefully it will be relaxing and fun. Her actual birthday is Sunday.

Sunday-I seek spiritual enrichment at church. After lunch I just hope to rest. That usually doesn’t work out, but here’s hoping.

Monday isn’t part of the weekend but we are planning on night fishing after work so that will be fun. Whatever you get into this weekend I hope you stay safe and have fun.
