Well, well, well, apparently today, April 24th, is National Pig in a blanket day. Who knew such a day existed?? Here in the United States the term “pigs in a blanket” typically refers to hot dogs in crescent rolls.

April 24th also happens to be Scream Day. It is a day dedicated to the idea that sometimes, the best way to deal with stress or overwhelming emotions is to let it all out with a good scream.

So there are two obscure holidays for you today. Feel free to indulge in both, just make sure your scream is before or after eating the pigs in blankets. Otherwise, that could get messy. You’re welcome.

Every year as I get older I understand more and more why a rooster starts his day screaming! I’ve always loved pigs in a blanket. Thank you for the sage advice to not combine the two at the same time, lol.
