
Hey, y’all, it’s National Deviled Egg day! I LOVE deviled eggs. My mom makes the best eggs with just mustard, mayo, & a tiny bit of vinegar. But my Mamaw and my Mother-in-Law both made theirs with pickle relish. They were yummy, too. So I really like them both ways.
Deviled eggs got their start in ancient Rome. Apparently they were sliced in half and covered in spices & sauce. They were eaten by the wealthy who could actually afford the eggs and someone to cook and serve them.
