If you had a billion US dollars, how would you spend it?
Okay, first let’s just get this out of the way. Of course I would donate to charity or probably start my own. But what else?
I would travel! I’d start on my U.S. bucket list first. I’d go to Yellowstone and Yosemite, spending plenty of time at each. In fact, I’d probably spend much of my time as a nomad conquering the Appalachian Trail and the Pacific Coast Trail. I’d check out all the beaches, visit the Great Lakes, and hang out for a while in the New England states. Museums, botanical gardens, and theme parks would all be visited. I’d do the hula in Hawaii and hang out with Buffett in the Florida Keys.
Then I’d go international. Imagine all the frequent flyer miles I’d rack up jetting first to Europe to visit all of the iconic cities and villages. I would explore the ancient ruins of Greece and wander through the streets of Paris. I’d try all of the delicious cuisines and learn about the culture and history of each place. My journey would then continue to Asia, where I would immerse myself in the vibrant cultures of India and China. And then….wait….my alarm is going off again. I can’t mute it anymore because I don’t have a billion dollars so I have to get ready for work. Oh well! Happy Friday!

Lovely dream 😊
Those are my thoughts exactly! Retire, travel, donate the excess to charity.
I always wish I could travel too! Sounds great!
If only…
What lovely places to go, sounds amazing!
