A to Z Blogging Challenge-“C”- Cotton T-Shirt Transformation

Day 3! I love playing with t-shirts and I have dozens of plain ones in my craft closet to prove it. The one I used for this was just a plain, preshrunk white one. I should have ironed it before the final picture but I didn’t so please ignore the big wrinkle down the front. 🫤

First I cut a couple of inches off each sleeve.
Next I made a wide cut around the neck.
Then I just randomly started making little folds in the fabric all the way around, securing each one with a pin.
I used a zigzag stitch all the way around to give it a little stretch for pulling it over my head.
Then I cut a few inches off the bottom so it wouldn’t look so slouchy.
The finished shirt! (wrinkle & all)
