This is perhaps the least specific blog you will find. A variety of DIY projects, book reviews, health tips, yoga poses, fashion ideas, recipes or something altogether different depending on my current mood. I've never been pigeon-holed into one category so neither is my blog. Strap in and enjoy the ride!
This is a really cute and simple scarf to make. I had a bunch of t-shirts I found on clearance for $1.00 each and I hadn’t done anything with them so I grabbed a few for this.
$1.00 deals! Woo-HooFirst, lay the shirt out flat and trim the hem off. Then, working up the shirts start cutting several strips 3/4″ – 1″ wide. The more strips the longer the scarf.Stretch each piece out and wrap several times around your hand until you have several of these circles of fabric.Cut some of the extra strips into 3″ or 4″ pieces and use them to start tying each circle to the next. When you get them all tied together connect the two ends for an infinity scarf or leave it loose if you prefer. Trim the ends of your strips to make it look neater.Ta-Da! All done. πClick here for more information about the challenge.
