We recently got back from our first cruise since before having our first child. We sailed on the Margaritaville at Sea Paradise which is a 3 day, 2 night cruise with a day in the Bahamas. We are Parrotheads because of our love for Jimmy Buffett’s music. We spent a few days in West Palm Beach before embarking.

We stayed at a Fairfield by Marriott. It was a new hotel so everything was clean and very nice. The pool was great and we spent a lot of our time there. They have a continental breakfast and it was the real deal. You know how some hotels throw out cereal & coffee and call it breakfast? Not here. This was a full bar with juices, milk, coffee, and water flavored with fruit slices to drink. There were waffle makers to make your own fresh waffles. Eggs, bacon, mini quiches, toast, bagels, muffins, jellies, cream cheese, cereal and fruit filled the bar. It was great!

I bought the cruise package for my husband for Christmas. He didn’t even realize that Jimmy Buffett had a cruise line (only one ship so far) so he was very surprised. The reviews online were mixed so I was a little apprehensive, but the last two weeks of May of this year the boat was dry-docked. Multi-million dollar improvements were made and it hit the water again on June 1st. We sailed on June 6th and had no complaints whatsoever.
The boat was spotless. The food was great. One of the upgrades was adding the Cheeseburger in Paradise burger bar and it was delicious. The shows and entertainment were high quality and amazing. The service was amazing, no one wanted for anything. There were Margaritaville inspired items for sale in gift shops, of course. Our cabin was small, but not too small. It was “cozy”. When we docked in the Bahamas there was a Carnival Cruise Line ship docked near us. I think that most of the reviews I had read about this cruise line were made by professional travelers. The Margaritaville at Sea ship was awesome, but not nearly as big as the Carnival one or other commonly heard of cruise ships. So to compare it to those is just not fair. The bigger ships will, obviously, have more to offer, but on this one we stayed busy and still could not do everything. We were very pleased and would cruise Margaritaville at Sea again!

Those pictures are so awesome. It looked like a lot of fun. I do have one question though… Were the margaritas free. Lol Cuz I just have to say, that’s a selling point right there in my world. Seriously though, I am going to check it out. Thanks!
They were “free” if you bought a drink package. π
Free never means free. Lol
Looks like you had the time of your life. Great shots of a happy couple and all that delicious looking food.
Have a fabulous day and rest of the week. β₯
Must be a fun filled trip π
