At some point in the future, I hope to undertake the Camino de Santiago, a renowned pilgrimage route in Spain. I have completed two books that chronicle the experiences that people have had on the trail, and I’m currently reading a third one. The 500-mile trail dates back to the 9th century and is known for its spiritual significance and the opportunity it provides for introspection and personal growth. This sounds wonderful to me and on my journey, I would like to challenge myself physically and mentally, immerse myself in nature, and encounter different cultures along the way.

While the path is obviously difficult, the rewards of personal growth, self-reflection, and spiritual enlightenment make it a compelling undertaking. I don’t know if it will happen for me, but I believe that walking the Camino de Santiago would be a valuable opportunity to disconnect from daily distractions and reconnect with myself and the world around me. I’m going to think positively and say that I look forward to the day when I can begin this journey and witness its beauty and richness firsthand.

It’s an amazing adventure. We walked the last 200km. It was the trip of a lifetime.
Oh I bet! I’m glad you got to experience it.
We did the version for 50-year-olds. This is where you bring your luggage to the lobby in the morning and they drive it to the next hotel.
Nice. That sounds like a good version to me!
This is number one on my bucket list. I think about it all the time. I think it’s calling me!
You MUST go!
I’ve been walking it on and off since 2011. Just go.
