I haven’t posted lately about our “new to us” house remodel. We continue to work on it but the holidays slowed us down. Also, a lot of the work has been things that you don’t really see, or won’t see anyway. We have been adding sheeting under the siding on the entire house to both make it more solid and to keep it super cozy inside. We’ve also been adding new water lines because we are completely redoing the plumbing. New electrical wiring is going in, too. Both of these things will be hidden by the sheetrock that I hope will be coming soon. I think I will feel the progress once we actually have walls up again.

We have replaced some windows.

We also removed a picture window from the back of the house and replaced it with french doors. Then we closed off the door that was going out of the laundry room.

I still have high hopes of getting this house done and our current house listed by early spring but those hopes are seeming less likely by the day…

She still looks better at night, but hey, don’t we all some days?!
