Hey guys! I haven’t been blogging much lately because all my free time has been consumed with this remodel. I’ve decided to document it on YouTube and I would love it if you could give it a view and maybe like and/or subscribe. Thanks so much!

I decided to document this because it’s a pretty big deal to us. We are going from 3,500 square feet to less than 1500. We follow Dave Ramsey’s financial advice (for the most part) and we want to be debt free. So we are voluntarily choosing to live like no one else now, so that we can live like no one else later. (If you know, you know). We have been DIYers for a long time, but y’all, this is a big undertaking. We’re completely gutting the inside. We’ve already had a new metal roof put on. We are replacing all the windows and Joe was determined to remove all the siding and add OSB board to the entire house and then wrap it with the plastic house wrap, then put the siding back on. We have completed both sides and the back and he’s taking the end of the week off work to finish the front. It’s the biggest project to take on because there are 4 windows and we are changing the size/placement of those and the front door will be a different size, too. So hopefully we can get that all done by the end of the weekend.
