Believe it or not, we are still trying to finish up our home remodel. I am more excited than ever, after these past 16 months, to get to a calmer and more simplified life. I am utterly exhausted, both mentally and physically. I have so missed having time to blog and other fun things! They have been so few and far between. Thankfully, we are in the home stretch now. The last appliances have been ordered, all walls are completed, flooring is down. Bathrooms and bedrooms are complete. Kitchen cabinets are in progress. The washer and dryer will be going in today and stove and microwave are scheduled to arrive on Dec. 26th. Saturday we will be filling up a moving truck and hopefully getting the bulk out of our current house. Hallelujah! The current house is on the market, but we got it listed later than we wanted and now that we are in the winter/holiday season things are moving slow there. It will be so much easier to maintain it and keep it ready for viewings once we have moved out.
Well, it was nice to vent for a few minutes and share that little bit of progress. Hopefully our current house will sell soon, we’ll get settled into the new one, and can begin a new “normal”. To be continued…
