
Stress Awareness month began in April 1992. It is meant to raise awareness regarding the modern stress epidemic that we seem to be having now. This year’s theme is ‘Lead With Love’ which is encouraging us all to shower ourselves with love, compassion, acceptance and kindness.
Common issues related to stress:

- Stomach Issues Depression & Anxiety
- Insomnia
- Stroke
- Heart Disease
Effective relaxation techniques can significantly alleviate stress levels. Engaging in mindful practices such as meditation and deep-breathing exercises can promote mental clarity and emotional resilience.
Physical activities, such as yoga or walking in nature, not only enhance physical health but also release endorphins, which elevate mood.
Additionally, cultivating hobbies, whether through reading, painting, or gardening, allows for a constructive escape from daily pressures.
Prioritizing adequate sleep and maintaining a balanced diet also helps stress reduction.
