Exploring Unique Community Events: My Bigfoot Festival Experience

So, I did something I’ve never done before. This past Saturday, May 3rd, my friend and I drove almost 2 & 1/2 hours to go to a Bigfoot festival. Yeah, I don’t believe it either. 😆 It’s held once a year in Townsend, TN. It was definitely interesting. I went with the assumption that everyone else was just there for a laugh or two and a fun time. Not so! There were some die-hard believers there. And who the heck is Mothman? I’d never even heard of that one before.

There was wrestling, as you can see above. That was something else! East Tennessee Championship Wrestling (ETCW). I have no words. So I’ll just leave it at that.

Lavender Lemonade! 😋
This was the schedule.

We listened to some of the speakers,  visited the vendor booths, got snacks from the food trucks and, of course, watched the wrestling. It was a good day and we had lots of laughs. Would I do it again? Nah, I think this was a once in a lifetime experience. 😆
