This is perhaps the least specific blog you will find. A variety of DIY projects, book reviews, health tips, yoga poses, fashion ideas, recipes or something altogether different depending on my current mood. I've never been pigeon-holed into one category so neither is my blog. Strap in and enjoy the ride!

Hey guys. If you are trying to be more environmentally responsible these bowl cozies could be for you. It’s a super quick and easy project and they come in very handy. I made some to fit my soup bowls and some to fit my serving bowls. They are also great gifts. I made some for my mom and my aunt.
If you need fabric and other supplies for your project check out Fabric.com. After picking out and ironing your cotton fabric, place the bowl upside down on the backside of the fabric. Measure 2″ out all around the bowl & connect the marks. I used chalk to mark mine. It’s a little hard to see but this shows the circle I drew.I cut it out with pinking shears to prevent fraying. Iron the fabric in about an inch or so all the way around. You may need to clip out some of the bulk as your ironing to make it easier to sew. Then, just sew a seam all the way around leaving a small opening for the elastic. Cut the elastic 4 or 5 inches smaller than your bowl’s circumference. Attach a safety pin to one end of the elastic. This will make it easier to pull through. Sew together the elastic and sew the opening closed.Done. Top view.Done. Side view.
I hope you try and like this project. If you do share your finished photos. Happy Crafting!!
