Exploring Bush’s Beans Museum & Cafe in Dandridge, TN

We visited the Bush’s Beans museum and cafe in Dandridge, TN the first weekend in March. I was looking forward to this and it ended up being my favorite part of the trip.

I took quite a few pictures inside the museum. There is a lot of information there on the family and its history. I learned so much from the 20 minute movie. For example, did you know that the beans are cooked in their can? Me either! I also learned that my weight in beans is 108,800. Fun fact. 😄

We got a sample of beans outside of the cafe. Then we headed inside for lunch. No disappointment there. Hubby got the catfish with fries, hush puppies, and pinto beans. I had the Bush’s chili pie. Then we split the pinto bean pecan pie. It was amazing! I came home with the recipe.

All in all we were at the visitor center a couple of hours, first touring the museum, then eating at the cafe. When we are back in the area we will definitely eat there again!

For your enjoyment. 😋
