Well the first month of the year has come and gone. I don’t like to make resolutions. I prefer to call them goals, and I have a few of them for this year. I want to do a Bible study and yoga daily. Increasing the amount of journaling and meditation that I do is also on the list. I have a ukulele that I’ve wanted to consistently play and get better at. I’m just a beginner. And I always want to get more walking in. This year I’m keeping up with how long my walks are. I was tired of being connected to my Garmin watch all the time. It’s not about steps this year. Instead it’s about putting the time in and feeling better for it.
January Results:
- Daily Bible Study: 30 days
- Daily Yoga: 31 days
- Journaling: 19 days
- Walking: 19 days
- Meditation: 15 days
- Ukulele: 7 days
I’ve been tracking everything faithfully in my planner and doing that has made a world of difference. Not only was I able to have the totals at the end of the month, I also have such a sense of accomplishment. This way I see what I want to work on more (I’m talking to you, ukulele😆) Seeing what I was able to successfully complete has been such a joy. I hope to be updating in February with good numbers again. As the seasons change there can be different distractions, but I think the planner is key!
Did you make any goals for 2026? If so, how are you doing so far? I’d love to hear!
