I Need To Lose Myself In Something This Weekend

What activities do you lose yourself in?

First and most importantly outdoor activities like hiking or running give me something I can’t get anywhere else. They provide a sense of escape from the daily routine and allow me to immerse myself in nature. They provide mental relaxation that is difficult to achieve in any other way. So I consider outdoor activities to be an essential part of my routine, and I always look forward to getting lost in nature.

Next, I have found that crafting in some way allows me to lose myself in the process and tap into my inner creativity. I believe that artistic pursuits are an important factor in maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Whether it’s sewing, jewelry making, blogging, or another of the many crafts I dabble in, being creative in some way provides an opportunity to disconnect from the stress and distractions of everyday life. I don’t know about you, but I really need that!

Finally, meditation and yoga are tools I use for achieving a state of mindfulness and relaxation. This allows me to focus on the present moment and let go of stress and distractions. Incorporating these activities into my routine has helped me achieve a greater sense of balance and contentment in life.
